PCD started about 2002 doing various kinds of steel fabrication, including competition cars for rally and circuit. Since then, the company has done work for Toyota Aust, Daihatsu Aust, Mazda Motorsport and Porsche Centre Sydney, just to name a few. PCD is also heavily involved in local and regional motorsport, within and around the ACT. For several years, the business has been a class sponsor for the ACT Regional Rally Series and in 2008 became the major sponsor for the entire series, contributing to the running of the series and to the prize pool.
